"In January 2010, post-service snacks changed to almonds, walnuts, raisins, dried cranberries, blueberries, cherries and pretzels. Lenten suppers, which began in February 2010, [included] sandwiches on wheat bread and low fat soups.... A chili cook-off was held among Lutheran churches with our church taking second place with white chicken chili."
